A newcomer to the league, Ramírez made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .444 average, 4 hits in 9 at-bats, 4 home runs and 9 runs batted in. Where the Memphis Red Sox right fielder goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Ramírez certainly made his mark last week. For the year, Ramírez is batting .284 with 64 hits and 29 home runs. He has scored 47 times and driven in 73. |
