Angels Swap Joyner to Sea Lions for Freeman Friday, August 17th , 2001 Fans in Los Angeles woke up this morning to learn that their team had traded 31-year old RHP Joe Nathan, 30-year old minor league 1B Wally Joyner, and a 1st round draft pick to the San Francisco Sea Lions. In return, the Angels will receive 24-year old minor league SS Eddie Miller and 23-year old minor league 1B Freddie Freeman. |
