Murphy Severely Scalded by Hot Water Monday, August 27th , 2001 Monarchs first baseman Dale Murphy received medical attention yesterday after being scalded at his home. Murphy was apparently attempting to boil a pot of water when he accidentally knocked the pot over onto his right arm. The injury will reportedly cause Murphy to be out of action for the next week as the burns heal. |
