League Suspends Miami LF Pafko Monday, September 17th , 2001 The league office has notified the Miami Cuban Giants that Andy Pafko will receive a 2-game suspension for his flagrant conduct in yesterday's game with Memphis at Baker Bowl. Pafko aggressively and physically protested a third-strike call and had to be restrained by several teammates after being ejected. This season, Pafko is batting .245 with 59 hits, 18 home runs, 38 RBIs, 17 walks, .325 OBP and has scored 42 runs. He has played in 79 games. |
