Black Yankees Not Competitive in 9-0 Loss to San Francisco Tuesday, September 25th , 2001 In a very sharp performance at Oracle Park, Bump Hadley of the San Francisco Sea Lions blanked the New York Black Yankees, 9-0. He permitted 1 hit and finished with 5 strikeouts and no walks in the Sea Lions victory. "Bump goes out there and just goes about his business," Sea Lions manager Daniel Makonnen said in his postgame press conference. "I don't think he gets too concerned about what's going on. No matter the pitch, you know he's going to be where he needs to be." Checking out his stats for the year, Hadley has racked up 18 wins and 6 losses in 31 starts, posted a 4.10 ERA, and struck out 172 batters in 188.2 innings.
