Postseason Bid Ends for Los Angeles Wednesday, September 26th , 2001 Los Angeles Angels manager Daniel Makonnen said his players are "devastated" to have missed the playoffs. Today it became official -- the club has run out of games and was mathematically eliminated from qualifying for a spot in the postseason. The Angels are still searching for their first playoff appearance. The team also missed qualifying for the postseason last season. |
