He hasn't been around the league long enough to fully know the ropes yet, despite the fact that he's putting up veteran-like numbers. In September the San Francisco hitter tagged opposing pitching for a .425 average with 34 hits, 8 home runs and 18 RBIs. This season, Stearnes is hitting at a .357 pace with 51 home runs, 125 RBIs and has scored 108 times. |
