The Homestead Grays catcher has put together a season for the ages, compiling a batting of .400. "I can't even believe it myself," said the Buena Vista, Georgia native. "A lot of things had to go right for this to happen." On the season, Gibson compiled 196 hits, with 56 doubles, 1 triple, 49 home runs, 145 RBIs and 131 runs scored. |
