Colt 45s Advance to Divisional Playoffs Monday, October 8th , 2001 The Houston Colt 45s have booked their place in the Divisional Playoffs. By a score of 8-3, the club ousted the Philadelphia Stars in the Wild Card Round tonight at Shibe Park AL. Houston won the series by a 4-1 margin. The series MVP was Colt 45s first baseman Jeff Bagwell. For his part, the MVP said he is not putting too much stock in the individual honor and instead simply "looking forward to the next round." The Houston Colt 45s don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Indianapolis ABCs - Brooklyn Royal Giants series. Brooklyn leads the series 3 games to 1.
