ABCs Trade Ventura to Sea Dogs for Bell Thursday, March 21st , 2002 Indianapolis and Portland announced some roster changes today as the ABCs acquired 26-year old 3B Buddy Bell from the Sea Dogs in exchange for 19-year old minor league LHP Tom Glavine, 25-year old minor league RHP George Medich, 25-year old RHP Jack Billingham, and 25-year old 3B Robin Ventura. Representatives from both teams say they are pleased with the deal. Lifetime Bell is batting .277 and has hit 45 home runs. |
