Wandering, Los Angeles Agree to Deal Thursday, March 21st , 2002 A trade was announced today at a press conference in Wandering. Not satisfied with their current roster, the Wandering House of David general manager shook things up by acquiring 23-year old LHP Brett Anderson and a 3rd round draft pick from the Los Angeles Angels for 24-year old 3B Richie Hebner, 27-year old CF Cy Williams, and a 2nd round draft pick. "We're a better team now," House of David general manager Daniel Makonnen said. "We've added several pieces to the puzzle." Hebner has hit for a .274 career average and totaled 194 hits, 37 home runs and 107 RBIs. Thus far in his career, Anderson has worked 321 innings with 243 strikeouts en route to a 18-14 record. The 23-year-old also has a 4.15 ERA. |
