Injury Update for New York, VanLandingham Wednesday, March 27th , 2002 William VanLandingham will have to wait a while longer. The New York starting pitcher was informed this afternoon that he will miss another 5 months with radial nerve compression. The injury has kept him off the field since 03/26/2002. Though VanLandingham had hoped to return soon, he has no choice but to be patient. "Gotta stay focused," he said. "Gotta stay positive." |
