NL Star of the Week Announced Monday, April 8th , 2002 Not every ball that came off Roberto Alomar's bat last week was a line drive or a towering shot -- it just seemed that way to the teams that played the Ottawa Mounties. For his exploits, Alomar was named this week's National League Player of the Week award. The Ottawa second baseman put up 15 hits in 31 at-bats and 2 home runs while hitting .484 with 4 RBIs and 6 runs scored. |
