Hisle Tags 3 HR Against Tigers

Fans seated in the bleacher section at Palace of the Fans were taking cover all day long as Larry Hisle zeroed in on them, rattling three long blasts off the seats in a display of Herculean power.
The big game from the Toronto center fielder helped the Maple Leafs take the victory, 13-4, over the Cincinnati Tigers.
"I told myself not to press on the last one," he told reporters in the postgame press conference. "I knew I couldn't force it -- it has to be a nice easy swing."
For the game, he collected 4 hits in 5 at-bats, drove in 9 and scored 4 runs.
Larry Hisle hit a two-run home run off Johnny Gorsica in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Johnny Gorsica in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Johnny Gorsica in the 6th, flied out in the 7th and hit a three-run double in the 9th.
