Skeeters, Stauffer Stonewall Nashville, 7-0 Saturday, April 14th , 2001 The Nashville Sounds met their match today in Jersey City hurler Tim Stauffer. He kept them guessing the whole game and spun a 1-hit shutout. "He just worked us over," Nashville skipper Justin Marish said. "He probably didn't even need a shower after the game -- he barely worked up a sweat." In the 7-0 victory, Stauffer whiffed 5 and gave up 2 walks. |
