Cain Caps Great Week

Lorenzo Cain of the Black Senators relied on a sharp eye and a quick bat to outpace all other WBL Double A hitters last week and collect the Player of the Week Award.
He hit .480 with 12 hits in 25 at-bats, 4 home runs and 6 RBIs.
This season, Cain is hitting .309 with 55 hits, 8 home runs, 19 RBIs, scored 33 runs and played in 42 games.

5-Hit Barrage by Hiura

Keston Hiura really sizzled at the plate in his team's 9-7 win over the Havana Industriales. The Oklahoma City second baseman blistered Havana for 5 hits in 5 at-bats.
"Hiura was too tough to get out today," the Industriales skipper said in the postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too."
Keston Hiura hit a two-run home run off Don Wilson in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Steve Brown in the 8th.
Hiura is currently hitting at a .273 pace with 5 home runs and 12 RBIs.
