Malarcher Sticks It to AA Pitchers

One of the league's most exciting young players, Dave Malarcher of the Albuquerque Isotopes earned himself WBL Double A Player of the Week honors with a standout performance in last week's games.
For the week the 21-year-old third baseman had a lofty .462 average (12-for-26), collecting 5 home runs, 9 RBIs and 11 runs scored.
At present, Malarcher is batting .261 with 24 hits and 6 home runs. He has knocked in 13 runs and scored 16 times.
