Rowdy Players Suspended by League Monday, April 23rd , 2001 Wes Helms of the Austin Black Senators and Henry Schmidt of the Oklahoma City Redhawks received notification from the league commissioner's office that they had been suspended for 4 and 8 games respectively for their part in the on-field ruckus in a recent game at Astrodome. To date this year, Helms is batting .200 with no home runs. |
