Duncan Goes 5-for-5 Against Austin
Tuesday, May 15th , 2001
Fort Wayne left fielder Pat Duncan had a day to remember, 5-for-5 against the Austin Black Senators at Astrodome as the Daisies picked up a win, 8-7.
"He was patient up there," Fort Wayne skipper Steve Cherry told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. Duncan has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes."
Pat Duncan singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run double in the 4th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
So far this year, Duncan is batting .436 with no home runs and 6 RBIs.
