May's AA Batter of Month Award Announced Friday, June 1st , 2001 Tulsa Drillers fans believe they've got a talented young star in Andrew Benintendi. He did nothing to dissuade that notion in May, as he hit .409 with 7 home runs, 31 RBIs and 23 runs scored. The end result was the left fielder being named the WBL Double A Batter of the Month. Benintendi is hitting .342 for the season with 7 home runs, 41 RBIs and 34 runs scored. He has 54 hits in 158 at-bats and played in 46 games. |
