Steele Picks up AA Monthly Pitching Honor Friday, June 1st , 2001 When Elmer Steele takes the hill, chances are good for a Tulsa victory. At least that's the way it was in May. He excelled with a 4-0 mark and 1.44 ERA in 6 starts, tossed 50 innings, fanned 34 and held others clubs to a .193 average.
