Renegades Listless in 11-0 Loss to Beavers Tuesday, April 25th , 2000 The Vancouver Beavers rolled to an easy 11-0 win over the Hudson Valley Renegades at Nat Bailey Stadium today. Leading the way to victory was starter Lefty George, who shackled the Hudson Valley Renegades and held them scoreless on a 3-hitter. "This is what every pitcher wants to do when they go out there," George said in his postgame press conference. To date this season George is 3-2 with 5 starts and an ERA of 4.15 with 16 strikeouts in 30.1 innings. |
