Red-Hot Fermin Scorches Isotopes

It was a parade of hits for Felix Fermin of the Rochester Hustlers at Isotopes Park.
Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Fermin finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 7 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Hustlers to a win, 12-11.
"Fermin was really good and we were really bad," groaned Isotopes manager Justin Martin. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him."
Felix Fermin singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, struck out in the 5th, singled in the 8th, struck out in the 10th, hit an RBI single in the 11th and hit an RBI single in the 13th.
This year, Fermin is batting .284 with 23 hits, no home runs, 9 RBIs, 2 walks, .306 OBP and has scored 11 runs.
