Albuquerque Left Fielder AA's Best Batter in June Sunday, July 1st , 2001 Cy Williams is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the Albuquerque left fielder joined that select company when the WBL Double A announced the results of June's voting. Williams totaled 30 hits, 6 walks, 14 home runs, 30 RBIs and 24 runs scored last month to put together a .323 batting average and .373 on-base percentage. So far on the season, Williams is hitting .268 with 24 home runs, 65 RBIs and 45 runs scored. He has 70 hits and played in 69 games. |
