Season Ends for Outman Saturday, July 7th , 2001 In a news release, the Jersey City Skeeters announced that reliever Josh Outman would miss the rest of the season due to a fractured elbow. Outman sustained the injury on 07/06/2001. He "will be sorely missed," said his manager. This season, Outman has accumulated no saves, registered a 2.38 ERA and struck out 23 in 22.2 innings. He also has a 1-1 record in 5 relief appearances. |
