Redhawks, Welch Buzz Hustlers, 2-0 Thursday, July 12th , 2001 Mickey Welch came out firing strikes and, when the game ended, the Oklahoma City Redhawks hurler had struck out 9, leading Oklahoma City past the Rochester Hustlers, 2-0. Welch allowed just 5 hits in the ballgame. "I'm glad that one is in the rearview mirror," said Rochester manager Cory Creech. So far this year, Welch has a 3-3 record with a 4.97 ERA. |
