Trojans, Tanaka Stonewall Nashville, 6-0 Wednesday, July 18th , 2001 Masahiro Tanaka had an impressive outing at Lloyd Street Grounds, hurling the Troy Trojans to a 6-0 shutout victory over the Nashville Sounds. "He threw strikes and he was always around the plate," Nashville skipper Justin Marish said. "The ball was doing everything he wanted it to do. We hit some balls hard, but they were all right at the fielders." On the day, the right-handed Tanaka yielded 3 hits and tallied 5 strikeouts with 1 walk.
