Week's #1 Player Honored by AA Monday, July 23rd , 2001 There was no one hotter in the WBL Double A last week as Hanley Ramirez attacked enemy pitching with a vengeance to collect the Player of the Week Award. The 32-year-old Fort Wayne left fielder batted .412 with 7 hits in 17 at-bats, 4 home runs and 6 RBIs. In the current season, Ramirez has put up a .237 batting average with 14 hits, 7 home runs, 12 runs batted in and scored 10 runs. |
