Redhawks, Westbrook Stonewall Hudson Valley, 4-0 Wednesday, August 1st , 2001 Jake Westbrook had an impressive outing at Blues Stadium 1942, hurling the Oklahoma City Redhawks to a 4-0 shutout victory over the Hudson Valley Renegades. "He threw strikes and he was always around the plate," Hudson Valley skipper Joel Raya said. "The ball was doing everything he wanted it to do. We hit some balls hard, but they were all right at the fielders." On the day, the right-handed Westbrook yielded 5 hits and tallied 10 strikeouts with 2 walks. |
