Season Done for Kison Saturday, August 4th , 2001 The news was not unexpected, but that didn't make it easier to accept for the Charlotte Hornets: starting pitcher Bruce Kison is out for the year. Kison suffered a torn labrum on 08/03/2001. The team knew that the chances of seeing him return were slim to none. But today it was made official. This season, Kison has worked 60 innings with 54 strikeouts en route to a 1-4 record and a 5.25 ERA. |
