Wilkins Wins AA Player of the Week Trophy Monday, August 6th , 2001 One of the league's most exciting young players, Rick Wilkins of the Tulsa Drillers earned himself WBL Double A Player of the Week honors with a standout performance in last week's games. For the week the 25-year-old catcher had a lofty .600 average (6-for-10), collecting 3 home runs, 5 RBIs and 6 runs scored.
