Grace Belts Bunch of Base Hits Thursday, April 11th , 2002 The Charlotte Hornets couldn't stop Mark Grace, but they stopped the Albuquerque Isotopes, 12-11. Grace went 5-for-7 in the game at Isotopes Park, but his team still came out on the wrong end of the score. "I feel bad for Mark -- that's not how any of us wanted things to turn out," said Albuquerque manager Justin Martin. "The Hornets were on their game today." Mark Grace hit a two-run single in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, doubled in the 7th, singled in the 9th, singled in the 10th and doubled in the 12th. |
