Heathcock Sizzles, Tulsa Fizzles Friday, April 12th , 2002 It was not a good day at the plate for the Tulsa Drillers. They came up empty when it mattered against Madison Black Wolf right-hander Jeff Heathcock, who scattered 7 hits across 9 innings and held the Drillers scoreless. "We had 7 hits so I know he wasn't completely untouchable, but he was close," Tulsa manager Cole New said later. Heathcock chalked up 4 strikeouts and no walks in the 4-0 Black Wolf win. |
