WBL AA AA-East Won: Sounds on Top Monday, July 31st , 2000 The Nashville Sounds kicked off what they hope is the first of many celebrations tonight, after having clinched the WBL AA AA-East. Championship success is uncharted waters for the Sounds, as the club has yet to win a Round 3. "We know what it takes, we just have to put ourselves in that position to win it," said reliever Tyler Clippard. The club's record currently sits at 60-47 and the division win is the 0 in team history. Team owner The owner of the Nashville Sounds said it was "an extremely proud day to be at the head of the Sounds." |
