Brown of Oklahoma City AA Batter of the Month Tuesday, August 1st , 2000 For a rookie just breaking in, Lew Brown certainly put together a successful month. It was good enough to win the AA Batter of the Month award for July. The 21-year-old catcher for the Oklahoma City Redhawks hit .333 with 12 home runs, 31 RBIs and 20 runs scored. Brown currently has a .281 batting average with 47 hits, 16 homers, 42 RBIs, 26 runs scored and a .330 OBP. |
