Mauck Shines, Shuts Out Charlotte, 4-0 Monday, April 22nd , 2002 Hal Mauck kept the Charlotte Hornets hitters from doing much damage at Hinchliffe Stadium. Charlotte could only muster 6 hits and draw 2 walks against the right-handed Mauck, who controlled them throughout the game. Atlantic City won the contest, 4-0. Mauck added 4 strikeouts in his complete-game effort. "I don't know if I was on or if they were off today," Mauck told reporters after the shutout win. "But whatever it was, I hope it happens again next time." |
