McBride Whips Vancouver, 8-0 Friday, April 26th , 2002 24-year-old Sacramento Solons pitcher Dick McBride had a strong outing against the Vancouver Beavers at Chuckchansi Park, keeping them off the scoreboard the whole game. He struck out 4 in the 8-0 win and walked 2 while surrendering 4 hits. "Hopefully there will be plenty more of these in the future for us," he said.
