Red-Hot Wong Scorches Trojans Saturday, August 5th , 2000 No matter what the Troy Trojans threw him today, Kolten Wong hit it. The 23-year-old Oklahoma City Redhawks second baseman racked up 5 hits in 6 at-bats today at Haymakers' Grounds and led the Redhawks to a 18-9 victory. Kolten Wong singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, hit a two-run single in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit a GRAND SLAM off Aaron Loup in the 9th. Wong is hitting at a .274 mark this season. His stats show 19 home runs, 58 RBIs and 53 runs scored. He has played 89 games for the Redhawks. |
