Troy Takes Round 1 in Deciding Game

The sweet swing of Jo-Jo Moore has led his team through the Round 1.
The Troy Trojans star earned series MVP honors as his club downed the Oklahoma City Redhawks to advance to the Round 2.
The Trojans won the final game at Haymakers' Grounds by a score of 5-4 and the series 4-3.
"I'm seeing the ball well and happy to contribute to a win," said Moore. "I hope it continues for the rest of the playoffs."
For the series, Moore hit .407 with a .500 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 9 RBI and scored 7 runs.
The Troy Trojans will play against the Austin Black Senators in the next round. Austin won their series against the Syracuse Sky Chiefs 4 games to 2. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes.
