Bullfrogs Chill Quentin's Hot Streak Thursday, June 29th , 2000 Lady Luck was not on the side of Carlos Quentin or his teammates today at Big Top Stadium. Everything went the way of the Green Bay Bullfrogs, who not only came away with the 2-1 victory over Biloxi, but also held Quentin hitless in 4 at-bats to put an end to his 20-game hitting streak. "It was a good run," Quentin said afterward. "It would be much easier to take right now if we had won." In 40 games Quentin is hitting .376 this season with 56 hits, 36 home runs, 58 RBIs, 21 walks, .472 OBP and has scored 47 runs. |
