Comets-Werewolves Deal: Obermueller for Kelley Wednesday, July 26th , 2000 27-year old minor league RHP Wes Obermueller will now be playing for the London Werewolves and 20-year old minor league RHP Harry Kelley will be suiting up for the Kenosha Comets. The trade was announced today at a press conference by club officials. This season Obermueller has compiled a 3-3 mark with a 5.43 ERA in 9 starts. Kelley has taken the mound for 27 relief appearances this season, nailing down 5 saves while notching a 3-4 record with a 6.71 ERA. The Kenosha reliever has limited opposing batters to a .254 batting average. |
