Bedard Spectacular in 11-0 Win Sunday, August 6th , 2000 Erik Bedard of the Lynchburg Hillcats spun his magic on the Armstrong's Secret Nine today. He blanked them 11-0 on 1 hit, registering 11 strikeouts and 2 walks. "The bottom line was I just kept the ball down," Bedard said. "My breaking stuff was down. Everything was down." Talking to reporters in the postgame interview, Lynchburg skipper Andrew Lantsman said the team "got solid pitching, good defense and took great team at-bats in a lot of different situations."
