Santiago Spectacular in 3-0 Win Tuesday, August 8th , 2000 In an impressive outing, Hector Santiago whitewashed the Kenosha Comets 3-0. "I'm getting a lot more downward movement instead of side to side. That side-to-side stuff can get hit a long way," said Santiago, who is throwing with more of an overhand motion. "It's not rocket science. It was just a little adjustment, but that's all it took." The Galveston hurler held Kenosha scoreless, allowed 1 hit, chalked up 16 strikeouts and yielded 4 walks.
