Friday, August 25th , 2000
Anyone wearing a glove and sitting in the bleachers for today's Jackrabbits-Yankees game had a good chance at snagging a home run ball.

"Hey, the three homers were great, but I'm just trying to help my ballclub," Spikes said later. "I'm not going out there thinking I need another home run."
Spikes was 3-for-4 on the day with 3 runs batted in.
