WBL Rook National Winner is Kepler Monday, August 28th , 2000 Max Kepler demonstrated his potential to be a star in the game last week and today he took home the WBL Rook National Player of the Week Award. The London right fielder wreaked havoc on opposing pitchers last week, pounding them for a .500 average (12-for-24) with 9 home runs and 12 RBIs on his way to claiming the honor. This year Kepler has batted at a .321 pace with 109 hits, 52 home runs, 98 RBIs and scored 82 times. |
