August's Premier ARN Rookie Named Friday, September 1st , 2000 Youngster Max Kepler emerged as the latest WBL Rook National Rookie of the Month today. The young man from London deserved the honor, batting .340 with 18 home runs and 27 runs batted in. Is the month of August a harbinger of things to come or just a fluke? We'll find out someday, but for now, we'll just let Kepler enjoy the limelight. This season Kepler has 55 home runs and a .327 batting average. |
