WBL Rook National Announces #1 Player Monday, September 4th , 2000 Max Kepler demonstrated his potential to be a star in the game last week and today he took home the WBL Rook National Player of the Week Award. The London right fielder wreaked havoc on opposing pitchers last week, pounding them for a .550 average (11-for-20) with 4 home runs and 6 RBIs on his way to claiming the honor.
