Watkins, Posedel Suspended for Fracas Monday, September 4th , 2000 George Watkins of the Philadelphia Pythians and Bill Posedel of the Bozeman Bucks received notification from the league commissioner's office that they had been suspended for 3 and 6 games respectively for their part in the on-field ruckus in a recent game at Recreation Park. Watkins has collected 68 hits for the Pythians this year, 34 of them home runs. He has also netted 67 RBIs and scored 49 runs while batting .214. This year Posedel has fanned 154 in 135.2 innings and collected a 8-8 record with a 6.17 ERA. |
