Season Ends for Johnson Wednesday, September 6th , 2000 Obviously disappointed, Art H Johnson confirmed today that his season is officially over. The Chugiak-Eagle River starting pitcher offered mostly monosyllabic responses to reporters. "Nope," he said, when asked if he might possibly return this year. The 21-year-old Johnson suffered bone chips in his elbow on 09/03/2000 and has been out of action since. To date this season Johnson is 8-5 with 21 starts and an ERA of 3.14 with 123 strikeouts in 111.2 innings. |
