Quentin Parks 3 for Biloxi

Biloxi left fielder Carlos Quentin blasted three homers today at Caillavet Park in the 11-8 Shuckers victory over the Corpus Christi Hooks.
For the game, Carlos Quentin scored 3 times and knocked in 8 runs. When he hit his last home run, his teammates, hearing the crack of the bat, leaped off the bench and rushed on the field to greet the jubilant Quentin when he reached home plate.
"It was just one game, but it sure was a lot of fun -- 3-for-4, three roundtrippers and a win," a gleeful Quentin told BNN reporters in a postgame interview. "What a day."
Carlos Quentin walked in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Wandy Rodriguez in the 4th, flied out in the 5th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Wandy Rodriguez in the 7th and hit a three-run home run off Dick Hyde in the 9th.
Quentin is presently hitting at a .337 pace with 79 home runs, 153 RBIs and has scored 113 times.
