Mustangs Plugged by Lade, Blackbirds, 5-0 Tuesday, September 12th , 2000 The Erie Blackbirds rolled to an easy 5-0 win over the Penn Yan Mustangs at Jerry Uht Park today. Leading the way to victory was starter Doyle Lade, who shackled the Penn Yan Mustangs and held them scoreless on a 4-hitter. "This is what every pitcher wants to do when they go out there," Lade said in his postgame press conference. This year Lade has compiled a 6-5 mark with a 5.98 ERA in 23 starts.
